Local democracy, close to home

About your Community Council

We listen, represent local views and help connect Strathard communities with the organisations responsible for public services and decisions.

What we are here to do

A clear, constructive local voice.

Strathard Community Council represents Aberfoyle, Kinlochard, Stronachlachar and Inversnaid. Community Councillors are volunteers. We gather evidence, listen to residents, communicate openly and raise local priorities with Stirling Council, Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park and other public bodies.

We do not deliver council services ourselves, but we can help residents understand the right route, identify recurring problems and make evidence-based representations where an issue is unresolved or affects the wider community.

01

Listen

Make it easier for residents across all four communities to share evidence, concerns and ideas.

02

Represent

Present local views fairly and constructively to decision-makers and service providers.

03

Report

Publish meeting information, approved records and updates so our work remains open.
