Non-urgent police report
Report non-urgent matters to Police Scotland online.
Use Police Scotland's online form for a crime or incident that is not happening now and does not require an immediate police response. The form is reviewed and progressed in slow time.
Call 999 if there is an emergency, someone is in danger or the incident is happening now. Call 101 if the matter is urgent but not an emergency, or you need to speak to Police Scotland.

Keep the evidence
Save the reference number and outcome.
Note the date reported, location, reference number, photographs and any response. This gives SCC a clear evidence trail if escalation is later appropriate.

Unresolved or wider issue
Ask the Community Council to consider escalation.
Contact SCC when the responsible authority has not resolved the issue, the response appears inadequate, or the concern affects the wider community. Include the reference number and evidence.
